The health of your body and mind is directly tied to the health and quality of the food you consume. And you have a right to choose what food you want and from whom you want to buy it. Our government continually wants to step in in the name of “safety” and place onerous financial and logistical burdens on those who can least afford them: the family farmer.
If you love fresh, wholesome food from your local farmer, then you need to be aware of a global agenda to control our food supply. In the 1970s, Henry Kissinger said, “If you control the oil you control the country; if you control food, you control the population.” And that’s exactly what our government has in store for us.
This fabulous interview with food activist Doreen Hannes discusses issues of food safety, the global agenda for harmonization and corporatization, the targeting of small farms by the FDA, USDA, and state agencies, and actions you can take to fight for your freedom to choose the food you want on your table.
If we don’t hold our government accountable, then we will lose the small farm. This interview is one I hope everyone takes the time to listen to. We have to stop sitting on the fence and allowing the government to pass laws that will, in the end, enslave us to Wal-Mart tomatoes and CAFO feedlot meat.

Doreen Hannes is the Director of Research for the National Independent Consumers and Farmers Association (NICFA) and is dedicated to weeding through the lies, half truths, and mis- and disinformation to help people to understand the methods and propaganda being used to manipulate us….and to dig for the truth.
